I don’t understand why you would create a magazine about the web yet not have it available to read ON THE INTERNET. What is that about? That’s just dumb.
Shouldn’t we be striving to save the trees? Why not use the web as your tool, as an example of good design on the web, as a tool for the topics of interest in the articles in your magazine?

Hi John,
Great to see Scroll launched. How about making a Twitter channel for it? I often hear about stuff on Twitter before I get round to trawling through my RSS feeds.
Hope the launch goes well.
Cheers,
Diana

I agree with Diana.
A once-in-a-while-ding-dong on twitter usually get’s things rolling faster than anything else these days.
Cool stuff, John.
Congratulations on the launch.

Hi Karen,
thanks for asking (if not quite so politely as I would have).
There are very good reasons for a print edition (the content will be here for free, but after a 3 month delay by the way).
I address some of these issues in my article “friction” in the magazine, but I’ll also detail some thoughts on the blog very soon. Hopefully it’s not as dumb as it initially appears :-)

Hi Luke and Diana,
Veerle caught us a little off guard — was putting all the bits in place for a launch in a day or so. But that’s all good. Follow us on Twitter now!
